2 min read

In Celebration of National Estuaries Days, paddle the Estero River with a guide. This event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at the Estero River Outfitters. The event is hosted by the Estero Bay Buddies and the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program. The event consists of three paddles: a beginner; intermedite; and advanced paddle to accomodate everyone’s paddling needs.

Participants in each trip will be educated about the Estero River; Estero Bay; the importance of our local estuary; programs; events; the environmental commitment of the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program; and the work the Estero Bay Buddies are doing within the local community.

There is a fee of $10 per person for the event. All participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled launch of their trip in order to check in, pick out a kayak, paddle and life jacket.
