Man Arrested In Bonita Springs Homicide
The victim of the August 29, 2009 homicide in Bonita Springs is identified as .
An alcohol-fueled argument has left one man dead and another charged with murder.
Deputies were called at 27311 Felts Avenue, Bonita Springs, at approximately 12:15 pm on August 29, 2009. Upon arrival, they observed a man laying in the back yard with a serious stab wound to the abdomen. The man was airlifted to the hospital and died a short time later.
Witnesses reported that the victim Moises Romero (DOB 4-7-62) and Antonio Arredondo had been drinking alcohol most of the morning when they began arguing loudly. Arredondo stabbed Romero and then ran into a wooded area a few blocks away. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Aviation and K-9 Units were called in to assist with the search. Arredondo was located in the woods and arrested within an hour.
Arredondo (DOB 6-13-42) uses many aliases including Antonio Pacheco. He is charged with Second Degree Murder.
