Festival of Trees Seeks 2009 Sponsors
Preparation for the 2009 Festival of Trees has already begun, and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. is seeking donors and sponsors for its third annual holiday celebration. The 2009 Festival of Trees begins November 27 at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center and culminates in the elegant Tux and Trees Gala on December 4.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $100 (for hosting “TIE the Traveling Tree”) to the $5,000 Starlight Sponsorship. General and in-kind donations are also welcome.

The Festival of Trees is Southwest Florida’s premier holiday showcase, and the Tux and Trees Gala is the signature fundraising event of Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Inc. Last year, more than 3,000 people visited the magical display of trees decked out in holiday finery.
In the events’ first two years, the Festival of Trees and Tux and Trees have raised nearly $100,000 to support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with disabilities and other disadvantages overcome their barriers to employment and independence.
Proceeds from the third annual Festival of Trees benefit the Southwest Florida Goodwill Foundation, dedicated to providing a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Supporting the mission of Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, the Foundation works to ensure long-term funding is available for programs and services as needs escalate in the five counties served.
