“Art of tea” program offered at Burroughs Home

2 min read

Tea is a simple, healthful beverage, but will never be thought of the same after participating in “The Art of Tea at the Burroughs Home and Gardens.” This unique hour-long program is being offered to the public on Thursday, August 20, from 2 to 3 p.m. by the Uncommon Friends Foundation at the Burroughs Home at 2505 First Street in Fort Myers.

Pots of tea, tea cups, and other accoutrements that complement the tea experience will be provided. The cost of attending is $20 per person. The class is designed for a novice or connoisseur. Participants will learn about the tea plant, how to prepare a perfect cup of tea, and health benefits associated with tea. A variety of premium teas will be provided.

“The Art of Tea” is as divine as wine tasting without the added calories. Teas and other related supplies will be available for purchase at the tea event. For reservations, call 239-337-0706 or email CForbes@email.com.
