Beach accesses
Beach accesses along Estero Boulevard are clearly marked with signs. With limited parking spaces available, these public beaches offer no facilities, but are quieter places for those who want to relax or for those wishing to look for shells in a less picked-over area. Warning: the Town of Fort Myers Beach will ticket those who do not put money in the parking meters!
* Bowditch Point Park
At the north end of Estero Island, the county park has bathrooms, shower, picnic facilities and nature trails, with an extensive boardwalk opening directly onto the beach. A concession stand offers food and beach supplies. Parking is extremely limited! Take the shuttle at Times Square or Summerlin Square.
