Now through Saturday, Dec. 13, Florida Gulf Coast University presents “GARDENFresh Gallery Artists” by FGCU Department of Visual and Performing Arts.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the FGCU Arts Complex.

Now through Saturday, Dec. 6, the class “Code Enforcement Certification Training, Level II – Administrative Aspects of Code Enforcement” is presented by FGCU Florida Institute of Government.

The class is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; Exams are 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday.

It’s held in the Student Union 214 and WGCU room 214.

Cost is $480 for F.A.C.E. members, plus exam cost; $600 for non-members, plus exam cost.

Friday, Dec. 5, the “Eighth Annual Pottery Sale/Empty Bowls Lunch” is presented by FGCU Department of Visual and Performing Arts from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The lunch is from 11:30 a.m. until the soup runs out at FGCU Arts Complex.

Friday, Dec. 5 is when “Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness” with nationally recognized STEM education expert Alison Morrison-Shetlar.

The program is presented by FGCU Whitaker Center at 1:30 p.m., Whitaker Hall 243.

There is no cost to attend.

“Building a Business Plan is Like Making a Pizza” is a program presented by the FGCU Small Business Development Center from 2 to 4 p.m.

The class is being held at the FGCU Main Campus – Lutgert Hall room 4201, 10501 FGCU Blvd. S., Fort Myers.

Friday, Dec. 5 is “Finals: Senior Project Exhibition” opening reception with the artists presented by FGCU Department of Visual and Performing Arts.

The reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the FGCU Library Gallery.

Sunday, Dec. 7 is FGCU Women’s Basketball vs. Central Florida, 1 p.m., Alico Arena.
