Parrot Key’s next bi-monthly car show April 18
Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, 2500 Main St., continues to offer bi-monthly Caribbean Cruise-in Car Shows, with the next scheduled for Monday, April 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. These hot-rodding shows are free and open to the public (for both guests of the show and those who’d like to sport their own vehicles), and visitors have the opportunity to see some of the area’s coolest hot rods, finest classic cars and custom trucks up close and personal, while enjoying food and drink specials and live entertainment from DJ?Frank Torino.
One may see anything from old Model Ts and Model As to Studebakers, finely tuned GTOs, Trans Ams, Corvettes, Ferraris, T-Bucket rat rods, hot rods and anything in between.
“There were so many people who said we should do this every week that we decided to add another show for both March and April,” said RJ Snider, marketing director of Salty Sam’s Waterfront Adventures. “We are trying to give people some fun and excitement on a Monday night that they might not otherwise have. Plus, you get to see some really amazing cars.”
Car owners wishing to show off their fine set of wheels should plan to arrive at Parrot Key earlier for parking and registration. There is no fee to enter and is free to guests coming to take a look.
