The Salty Crab hosts holiday toy and clothing drive through Dec. 23
The Salty Crab Bar and Grill, 1154 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach started hosting a special toy and clothing drive last week, acting as a drop-off location for any new toys and/or new or gently used children’s clothing and shoes, as an opportunity for the establishment to help its local community during the holiday season.
Management of the establishment is eager to offer a voucher good toward 10 percent off their total bill for anyone who makes a donation to the cause, which can either be used that day or at a later time.
The charity for which the Salty Crab is collecting is still to be determined, but they are sure to reiterate that it will be local to Fort Myers Beach, whether it’s a church, a local coalition, non-profit thrift shop, etc.
The children’s toy and clothing drive will go until Wednesday, Dec. 23, so those wishing to make a donation are asked to do so prior to that date.
