Beach Pier renovations near completion
According to The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, renovations on the Fort Myers Beach Pier are underway, ongoing and are expected to be completed by mid-December 2011.
The $864,000 project is replacing pilings, rails, and beams along the 560-foot pier. Improvements are made possible by Lee County Tourist Development Council (TDC) bed tax. For more information, contact Damon Grant by email dgrant2@leegov.com or phone 533-8505.
