Mystery writer to address Gulf Coast Writers
Marty Ambrose, Edison State College Professor and author of The Mango Bay Mysteries series, will unlock the secrets of mystery novel writing for the Gulf Coast Writers Association on Saturday, Aug. 20, 10 a.m. at Fellowship Hall, Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers.
Her presentation, “Writing the Traditional Mystery” will cover the creation of an amateur sleuth, the plotting of a traditional mystery and the devising of a “community” of characters for a mystery series.
Professor Marty Ambrose has worked at Edison State College for more than two decades as a professor of English, Communications Chair, and now as Assessment Coordinator. She is presently working on TROPICAL TROUBLE, book #5 in her mystery series.
