Tourism industry partners invited to hands-on social media workshops
The local tourism industry is invited to two social media workshops designed to help industry partners learn more about utilizing tools such as Facebook and Twitter to promote their businesses, organizations, properties and attractions to visitors.
Martin Stoll from GoSeeTell will lead the free, hands-on workshops at Florida Gulf Coast University Resort & Hospitality Management building at Sugden Hall from 1 to 5 p.m. on June 13 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 14. Participants are welcome to attend either or both of the workshops.
All participants are asked to bring the following to the workshops: laptop; a Yahoo email address that you created for this event (please set up a new account at www.yahoo.com that is not associated to any existing accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, etc.); a logo for your business; and a photo of your business that you have the rights to use. ?
