Three businesses named as business ethics finalists
Three area businesses have been named as finalists for the sixth annual Business Ethics Award, presented by the Uncommon Friends Foundation. The three businesses are
– Conditioned Air Corporation, Naples, providing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning sales and services. Keith Walker is the Chief Operations Officer.
– Executive Buillion LLC, Fort Myers, an estate jewelry buyer and precious metal dealer. Austin Barker is the principal and Managing Partner.
– J.L. Wallace, Inc., Fort Myers, whose business is as a commercial general contractor. Jerald L. Wallace is President and CEO.
The finalists will be honored at a business ethics roundtable luncheon at FGCU, co-hosted by Uncommon Friends Foundation and the FGCU College of Business on Thursday, June 2. The winner will be announced at the Uncommon Evening that evening being held at Harborside Event Center, 1375 Monroe Street, Fort Myers.
The public is invited to attend the Uncommon Evening, which will begin at 6 p.m. Individual tickets are $60. Tables of eight and sponsorships are available.
Other features of the gala evening will be the presentation of Character Education Teacher Awards, 25 scholarship recipients, and the honorary life membership to Gary Trippe, Managing Director of BB&T-Oswald Trippe and Company.
Past recipients of the Business Ethics Award are HomeBanc Mortgage Corp., WilsonMiller, Inc., Bonita Bay Group, Shell Point Retirement Community, and Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co.
The Uncommon Friends Foundation, established in 1993, is a character education foundation whose mission is to instill ethics, moral values and a sense of purpose in tomorrow’s leaders.
