Donations need for critical O Negative blood supply
The supply of O negative blood type has fallen to very low levels and Florida’s Blood Centers is appealing to the public for help. Anyone who has any RH negative type blood or who knows any person with a negative blood type is encouraged to have them contact the blood center.
O negative blood is the most critical at this time because it is the universal type which used in emergencies and traumas. It can drop to critical levels in a short period of time. Take a look at this story about the importance of O negative donations here. Florida’s Blood Centers must make sure that all hospitals have an adequate supply at all times. All donations will go to local hospitals within the next couple of days to save the lives of patients who may need immediate transfusions.
