Bonsai Society to hold monthly meeting
“Wiring Your Bonsais” is the topic of the Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida on Saturday, March 19, beginning at 9 a.m. Guests are welcome at the demonstration and instruction in wiring trees to obtain a desired artistic shape and appearance. Justin Michael will be the featured artist.
The meeting is held at the Support Personnel Association of Lee County building at 6281 Metro Plantation Road, Fort Myers. There is no charge for attending the meeting and reservations are not required.
Bonsai is a horticultural art of growing trees in pots. It had its origins in China and Japan. Information about bonsai and the association will be available at the meeting.
