Gulf Coast Writers examine costs of self-publishing
A panel of self-published authors will lead a discussion about the finances
of publishing a book. What are the costs of printing, marketing, overhead,
shipping and handling? How do you figure profit/loss? How deeply can you
discount and still come out ahead? What are the tax liabilities?
Answers to these questions will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 10
a.m. in Freedom Hall at Zion Lutheran Church, 7401 Winkler Road, Fort Myers.
Admission is $5 for non-members, $3 for members and free for first-time
visitors
