Chamber/Santini Plaza to join forces again
Due to the success of the recent “Wrap Me Up In Christmas Fresh Market and Street Fair”, the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce and Al Durrett’s merchants team in Santini Marina Plaza plan to present “Baubles and Noshes Fresh Market and Street Fair” at Santini Marina Plaza on Jan. 15, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the event, the restaurants of Santini Plaza will present a ‘Taste of Santini’ along with 40 arts and crafts vendors, a fresh produce market and lots of surprises. Admission for the mid-January event will be a non-perishable food item to replenish the shelves of the local food banks, which have become depleted during the holiday season.

On Dec. 4, Santini Marina Plaza and the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce joined forces for “A Wrap Me Up In Christmas Fresh Market and Street Fair.”
The parking lot was transformed into an old-fashioned street market with some of the best and freshest fruits and vegetables in Southwest Florida and more than 40 arts and crafts vendors.
Steel, a 14-member steel drum band from the North Fort Myers Academy of the Arts, played live music during the event.
Admission was a toy for the Chamber’s Spirit of the Holidays event, which benefitted needy children.
