Chamber changes date for 2011 Business Expo
The Greater Fort Myers Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has changed the date of its 2011 Business Expo at Bay Oaks Recreational Center. The event, originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 5.
The event encourages chamber business members a chance to present their business to Beach residents and visitors in a new arena. Last year, the chamber held the expo at DiamondHead Beach Resort.
For a $75 registration fee and $50 business-related door prize donation, the participant will have extensive advertising and publicity prior to the event; registration table and two chairs for the event; a 10-by-10 foot display area; door prize registration slips; on-site roaming master of ceremonies; microphone time to announce prize drawing at own booth; microphone interview with master of ceremonies to plug the particular business; as well as ongoing children’s activities.
The business vendor is asked to provide the following: table cover, signs/display, brochures and the aforementioned $50 door prize donation for the hourly drawings.
There will be no admission charge to the event. Space is limited, so chamber businesses are encouraged to promote their business.
