Power squadron reports on trip
The Fort Myers Power Squadron returned from a fantastic three day cruise to the beautiful Island resort of South Seas on Captiva Island on Wednesday, Dec. 1. We also had people join us by land vessel for dinner and games the second night. The beach, hot tub and three heated pools kept everybody happy. We are looking forward to our next one.
We have had two weddings and a sweet 16 party at our building in the last month. We had a cruise to lunch at the Lighthouse on Saturday, Dec. 11, and a Commanders open house and Christmas party planned for Dec. 19th.
Besides all the fun activities we continue to hold a full slate of education classes including boat smart, piloting, advance piloting, weather and boat maintenance. As I have said before, if you live in paradise come check us out and take advantage of the many things that are available and also the chance to make many new friends. There are no strangers, just friends who haven’t met yet.
