Pink Shell understands the concerns travelers might have in reserving a vacation in Florida right now due to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. To alleviate that concern, the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa is pleased to introduce its “Clean Beach Guarantee,” coupled with some terrific summer rates.
“As travelers and visitors to Southwest Florida become more and more concerned about the oil situation in the Gulf of Mexico, we want to do all we can to ease their apprehension about taking a vacation at the Pink Shell Beach Shell Beach Resort & Spa,” said Ellis Etter, director of sales & marketing. “Our clean beach guarantee shows our commitment to ensuring our potential guests can book their vacations with us and not worry about cancellation fees and penalties. The Clean Beach Guarantee assures guests that if their vacation is disrupted because of a direct impact from the BP oil spill to the beaches in front of the Pink Shell, they will be able to cancel their reservation penalty-free or have the ability to move their reservation to the same time next year, at this year’s rates. The room type and stay pattern must remain the same (same number of nights, same days of the week). A disruption occurs when an impact from the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico requires a governmental agency to actively clean the beach, or if a governmental agency closes the beach due to public safety concerns related from the oil spill.
