Sheriff Mike Scott has been elected a representative of the 241st session of the FBI National Academy. Sheriff Scott is one of six law enforcement professionals elected by his peers at the Academy. From the six finalists, one will be selected next week to join FBI Director Robert Mueller as commencement speaker during the group’s graduation ceremony later this year.

“Just being here is a high honor, but to be selected by my 260 peers as a top 6 finalist is humbling,” says Sheriff Scott.”I look forward to the challenges ahead.”

Law enforcement professionals from 48 states and 29 countries comprise this latest session of the FBI National Academy.
