Town to begin issuing re-entry passes
Re-entry passes will soon be available for residents, business owners, and property owners on Estero Island. Applications and instructions are available at www.fortmyersbeachfl.gov and at Town Hall.
Beginning the week of April 19, re-entry passes will be issued from Town Hall every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. Re-entry passes will also be issued from the Town’s emergency operations trailer at the Santini Plaza (7205 Estero Blvd.) on Thursday, April 22, and Thursday April 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.
There are no fees associated with the re-entry pass application. Applications can also be mailed to Town Hall or dropped off anytime, and re-entry passes will be sent by mail. Only residents, business owners, and property owners who are within the jurisdiction of the Town of Fort Myers Beach need to apply. The jurisdiction of the Town of Fort Myers Beach extends only to Estero Island. Please include a copy of your vehicle registration, photo ID, and proof of residency (property appraisal, deed, lease, business license, utility bill, etc.) with your re-entry pass application. If you have any questions, please call 765-0202. With hurricane season fast approaching, it is important for residents and business owners to apply for a re-entry pass well before any evacuation is ordered. On behalf of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, we wish all residents and visitors to Fort Myers Beach a safe and quiet hurricane season.
