Touchdown! Gearing up for the Big Game!

Time to gear up for the ultimate football game of the year, as New Orleans battles Indianapolis Sunday, Feb. 7 during Super Bowl XLIV, taking place at Sun Life Stadium in beautiful Miami, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled at 6:25 p.m. and CBS will broadcast the game live to millions of at-home viewers, while the classic world famous band The Who rocks during the halftime show.

Big Game

The Sand Bar and Grill

The Sand Bar and Grill’s staying with tradition, hosting its fifth annual Super Game party. Set up V.I.P. style, guests purchase their seat for the game, with an all-inclusive, all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet and bar. For $50, enjoy the plethora of hot and cold foot items on the buffet, as well as all-you-can-drink-beer, wells and calls just no shots.

The party begins an hour before kickoff, which would technically be 5:25 p.m. No walk-ins are available, and spots are filling up fast. The majority of the bar side is full, but many seats on the dining side are still available. The buffet will close at the end of the game.

Yucatan Beach Stand

The Big Game will be broadcasting from all of the TVs in the place, with the whole sound system cranking, so all the grunts, head-butts and cheers will sound like you’re really in Sun Life Stadium!

During the game, enjoy $5 appetizers, Bud and Bud Light and domestic draft specials, along with football contests, prizes and more.

The Beached Whale

Since the Super Game is sponsored by Coors Light, the Beached Whale is offering an amazing Coors Light special from 2 to 6 p.m. Super Sunday.

Enjoy 75-cent Coors Light drafts and $3 pitchers, along with regular happy hour specials that run from 3 to 6 p.m., including 99-cent drafts, $5 pitchers, $4.50 wings, $4.95 flatbreads and $4.95 mussel appetizers.
