Sheriff’s Office identifies man found in Matanzas Pass
The man has been identified as Timothy Pfister.
The man found last weekend floating in Matanzas Pass has been identified as Timothy Pfister of Cape Coral.
On July 8, the Lee Count Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a dead man floating in the water. Deputies responded and recovered the body, but were unable to immediately identify him. The Sheriff’s Office asked the community for assistance, sending out a description, photos of the clothes Pfister was found in and a rendering of his face. According to a press release Wednesday, the public information brought in a call from the family of Pfister, who were able to successfully identify him.
