The Fort Myers Beach Elementary PTO brought a little Vegas to the beach.

High Rollin’ on the Beach was held Saturday as the PTO’s annual fundraiser. With a professional casino company running the tables, guests got to enjoy the evening at the Woman’s Club. Winning at the tables gave guests tickets to bet on raffle items. With more than 150 guests in attendance, the PTO was able to raise more than $20,000.

A few last-minute sponsors covered some costs: MoJoe’s Reef provided the liquor and Palm City Brewing donated the beer for the event.

The PTO uses the funds raised for supplementing the elementary school. It funds after school clubs, classroom supplies, field trips, grants and anything else the school might need.

“We’re worn out for sure, but we had a blast,” PTO Co-President Kristen Love said. “I think we accomplished a goal of an annual event that can be counted on. All the feedback we received was that ‘we want it next year.'”
