From Roger Hernstadt, Fort Myers Beach Town Manager:

All county tolls will remain OPEN (waived) until further notice

First responder calls have remained high but the volume seems to have stabilized

Hospitals are very busy

Lehigh Acres and Buckingham was hit hard-lots of emphasis here due to conditions

The county is working on establishing a Disaster Recovery Center for local/state/federal assistance

Shelters open: Alico Arena, North Fort Myers Rec Center, Dunbar MS. County is working towards consolidating and closing Shelters

If the public has questions or concerns, call 211.

Power still out in many locations in the County. FPL has indicated their internal goal is next Friday if they can obtain and install needed poles.
