09.14.17 Town Manager Update
From Roger Hernstadt, Fort Myers Beach Town Manager:
Curfew lifted except for Village of Estero, Bonita Springs and Lehigh Acres.
LeeTran partial route activation
Additional water food pods in the county will be operational today.
National Guard assisting with Fort Myers and Lehigh distribution. Also deploying to San Carlos Park and Lehigh Acres flood areas
13 critical county infrastructure still withou power
Lee County diesel fleet is non operational – water in tanks
There are scams. Be on alert
Debris trucks coming in this weekend to be weighed. Sites being finalized estimate Monday for beginning of removal process
Town Hall has a limited number of tarps if you know someone in need.
Publix, Topps, town hall and BORC have power.

Federal Emergency Management Agency: “Individual Assistance”
Individuals and Households Program (IHP): IHP has two provisions: Housing Assistance and Other Needs Assistance. Housing Assistance provides financial and direct assistance or both to eligible disaster survivors who have necessary expenses and serious needs that they are unable to
meet through other means, such as insurance. This help may be in the form of Temporary Housing, Repair, Replacement, and Semi-Permanent or Permanent Housing Construction. Other Needs Assistance provides financial assistance to individuals and households who have other disaster-related necessary expenses or serious needs such as medical, dental, child care, funeral, personal property, and transportation costs.
