What makes you a candidate worthy of a resident’s vote?
“I am the only candidate with the unique mix of business management and government experience. What our town needs right now is someone with real business experience to cut through the bureaucracy of our growing government and find the right solutions. I have been in charge of multimillion dollar budgets and can find where to make the cuts. I will fight to keep our government light. I will work to make downtown redevelopment work for the residents of Fort Myers Beach. I will work to find economical solutions to our stormwater issues. I will work with the county to speed-up renovations to Estero Boulevard and insure that it has the proper lighting for citizen safety.”
Name and expound upon three topics you feel are areas of need/focus for Fort Myers Beach:
“Downtown redevelopment: Downtown redevelopment can be good for the residents of Fort Myers Beach. I will work with the residents and the developer to insure that we have a positive outcome and that the residents will benefit from this project.”
“Stormwater runoff: It is time to find real solutions to our stormwater issues. The time for Band-aids and short-term fixes must come to an end. I will work with the Town Council and experts to determine what is the real solution and the most economical solution is for the people of Fort Myers Beach.”
“Estero Boulevard construction and traffic management: We must work with the county to expedite the construction of Estero Boulevard. I will work for the people of Fort Myers Beach and work with the county to insure timely construction.I will work to insure that Estero Boulevard has proper lighting to protect the pedestrians of our island.”
