This month’s “Commercial” award for the Town/Chamber Alliance Beautification Nomination goes to Ocean Harbor at 4745 Estero Boulevard.

Ocean Harbor was hit hard by Hurricane Charley in 2004 and lost more than 300 palms ranging from 20 to 25 feet tall.

It’s Condominium Association is headed up by a Landscaping Committee of Dave Perreira (Board Liaison); Jackie Simonian; and Nancy Hansen (Co-Chairwomen). Carol DeLisle, Ron Fogelson and Andy Hamilton replaced these trees and improved the original landscaping design.

Dave Perreira said that Ocean Harbor has a total of 800 trees\plants (200 different species) on their property. These grounds are truly an “island paradise”.
