Dig The Beach Volleyball Series
The Dig The Beach Volleyball series comes to Fort Myers Beach near the Holiday Inn this weekend.
Action starts at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. It is expected to continue until dark on Saturday and into the late afternoon on Sunday.
The summer event is expected to have 300 teams compete on 40 courts on the sugar sands of the south end of Fort Myers Beach.
The tournament features mostly players from the state of Florida vying for prize money in the open division top-four finishes. There are six divisions in all -six men’s and six women’s. Junior and co-ed divisions play on Sunday
