Angered reader feels unsafe
To the editor:
Ingenuous politicians are telling us that the methods of interrogation used during the years following 9/11 are not going to be utilized again because the American people have been surveyed and they say it’s wrong.
My question is ‘who are they?’ And, ‘how many of those surveyed are family or friends of the poor souls who were slaughtered during the attack by insane terrorists?’
The problem here is that those living on public funds have become absolutely worthless. The pinheads believe that political posturing should be the foundation for all decisions and citizen safety is of little consequence. When things go wrong, they point fingers at the opposing party, they save the middle finger for the trusting public and then insist they’ve done their job.
Following the 9/11 disaster and for the 7 1/2 years, President Bush and his administration kept America safe and proved himself true to his oath. When he left office, he left a clear blueprint – a safe methodology that should have been followed to the letter: an “American first” success plan.
This administration, with pomposity and arrogance leading the charge, has decided that the Bush Administration should be defamed and the successful “America Safe” program should be scrapped. It’s politics at its worst and it has created a dangereous environment for all of us.
We need to tell this administration that we’re holding them 100 percent responsible should America get hit again. Politics in the 21st century sure does stink!
