Pilot Club of FMB install new officers
The Pilot Club and Foundation of Fort Myers Beach installed new officers and directors for the 2009-10 year at the annual banquet held at Bayfront Bistro.
Outgoing President Donna Raymond passed the gavel to incoming President Judy Owen. The club is in the process of planning fundraising events for the coming year: a chili cook-off and yard sale in the fall; the second annual Casino Night in January; and the eleventh annual fashion show in March.
The club supports many local causes including Florida Lions Camp for the handicapped; Ruth Cooper Center – Lee County Mental Health; Keep Lee County Beautiful; Beach Library; St. Vincent Depaul Society; several projects at Beach Elementary; and the FGCU Pilot Scholarship House.
