Local Lions club looks for candidates for scholarships
The Fort Myers Beach Lions Club are soliciting candidates for their 2009 “We Serve” scholarships.
Cash awards for college or vocational educational assistance are given to local students who demonstrate ability, need and a solid record of community service.
Applications for this year’s students can be obtained by emailing requests to ddoerz@yahoo.com or found on the Fort Myers Beach Lions Web site – fmblions.com.
All completed applications must be postmarked no later than May 28.
