Anglers and their guests will begin the festivities with a Captain’s Meeting on May 8, 2009 at Tarpon Point Marina. This includes a Hooters dinner, open bar and live music from 5:30 until 9 p.m.

The fishing tournament – with a cost of $180 per angler and $225 after May 1 – will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2009 with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Tournament hours are until 4 p.m. Anglers will be fishing for two snook, two redfish and two ladyfish: “total length,” photo release. They will also be able to participate in a big redfish weigh-in.

All attendees will have the opportunity to participate in both live and silent auctions, from 5 until 9 p.m. The awards banquet will begin at 7 p.m. with an Outback Steakhouse dinner, open bar and live music until 9:30 p.m. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
