St. Raphael’s to host benefit for Beach library
There will be a celebrity memorabilia auction Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Hall on 5601 Williams Drive.
More than a hundred other items of celebrity memorabilia will be up for auction at a gala event to benefit the Fort Myers Beach library construction fund. Live auction gets underway at 7:30 p.m. and all are encouraged to arrive early to allow time to register for their auction paddle.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the evening will feature 45 minutes of live auction, under the gavel of auctioneer Chris Lombardo. A silent auction of more than 60 items, and a Chinese or raffle-style auction, will keep the evening exciting and give everyone an opportunity to bid on celebrity treasures in a variety of ways.

nAn autographed copy of Tim Allen’s book, “I’m Not Really Here”
nA Salvador Dali etching, hand-colored and signed by the artist
nAn autographed copy of Harry Connick, Jr.’s CD, “Only You”
nA script for a 1978 episode of M*A*S*H*, autographed by Alan Alda
nA life-size cardboard figure of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow
nAutographed glossy photos of 2 dozen celebrities
nA baseball autographed by Jason Bay of the Boston Red Sox
Those attending will enjoy a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere, and a complimentary beverage with their $5 admission ticket. Additional beverages will be available for sale throughout the evening.
