Resident urges town for pedestrian overpass

To the editor:

Seasonal traffic is here again. What to do when it takes one hour to go four miles?

Get some Books On Tape. Pop one of those in your car’s CD player and you’ll get in 5-6 chapters easy until you get off the Island. I’m thinking of gettting The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. I should get through it before the end of April.

If this is not an attractive alternative for you then please urge our Town leaders to construct a pedestrian overpass or pedestrian underpass at Times Square so that traffic does not have to be halted every time someone wants to cross the road.

Let’s stop this insanity. If you think it doesn’t affect your property values or the rentability of your house or condo, think again.
