Yucatan Beach Stand holds successful luau

1 min read

This past Sunday, Jan. 25, the Yucatan Beach Stand held our first annual Mid-Winter Luau to benefit KEEP LEE COUNTY BEAUTIFUL.

It was a tremendous success and what a blast to host. A big thanks to all who helped make it happen; The Lighthouse Inn and Resort; J.J. Taylor Distributors; Carib Carribean Lager; Semmer Electric; National Beverage; the wonderful staff at the Yucatan; Brenda B; Stet Howland; Damaris Roman; Veolia Waste Services; Christine at Sunshine Recycling; Karen Bove; Jesus Hernandez; Nelson Acevedo; and the wonderfull array of crafters and vendors.

The entertainment was a great surprise to all in attendance. Jan Miller is always a big part of our events and began the afternoon in style. Also big thanks to Dave Lapio(steel drums), Sundance Dave, Bill Roundtree, Dave Potter, Jo List, Stet Howland and the best 12 year old blues guitarist I’ve ever seen in Mike Imbascianni.

A very special thank you to all who came out to support KEEP LEE COUNTY BEAUTIFUL.

Stay tuned, as we have some more plans for fun and good times to help great causes.
