Lions need marchers and girls
The Fort Myers Beach Lions wish to inform the public that the 2009 Shrimp Festival is just around the corner. March 14 and 15 will cumulate the festivities with the Shrimp parade, expo and shrimp boil. The Parade Marshal is now seeking applicants for parade entries. The application form can be obtained by calling Lion Dine Clifton at 454-0043 or online beachshrimpfestival.com.
The Princess’s Pageant is also seeking entrants, so if you wish to participate and are single age 16-20, please contact Lion Fran Peters at 454-0246. Those willing to sponsor a contestant can also contact Lion Fran. The Fort Myers Beach Lions Foundation thanks all those who have in past years made this festival the Beach’s finest event. Questions?
