It’s no secret that bargain-shopping can work up quite an appetite (it’s one of the reasons the “shop ’til you drop” catch-phrase is so well-known). But, while treasure-hunters are digging up their fabulous finds during the seventh annual Main Street Bazaar and Yard Sale, hitting the streets Saturday, Jan. 16, beginning at 8 a.m., they can be sure to work on a full stomach, as many of the participating neighborhoods will be offering tasty treats and savory supplements during the annual event.

Swing by Oyster Bay in the morning to start with a delish pancake breakfast, stop by Port Carlos Cove, at the end of Main Street, for a fulfilling burger lunch, and several other sweets and treats at many other communities along the way.

Plans continue to come along greatly, as more and more communities and businesses team up for the bazaar, and soon-to-be bargain-shoppers can prepare for a great turnout of treasures to uncover.

Stop by most of the communities along Main Street and up through Buttonwood during the massive hunt, including Sportsman’s Cove, Ebb Tide and Port Carlos Cove, as sellers bring out their wares and goodies for purchase anything ranging from clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories to furniture, electronics, sporting goods, recreational items, marine equipment and more.

Also participating in the sale will be customers of the storage facility on Main Street, as well as some street vendors, merchants and food trucks and often, businesses along Main Street offer special treats for the day, as well.

Please continue to stay tuned to the Beach Bulletin for further details as they develop.
