A decade of pillaging — 11th annual island Pirate Festival places ‘X’ on the map

Ahoyyyyy, Mateys! Join thousands of roving pirates, scalawags, privateers and high-seas adventurers along historic Old San Carlos seaport for three days of pirate fun on the waterway of Estero Island during the 11th annual Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival Oct. 7 to 9.
Voted the No. 2 Pirate Festival in the country by U.S.A. Today, the Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival invites all to celebrate a decade of pirate fun, complete with a kick-off pirate ball, pub quest, live music and performances throughout the grounds, ship-to-shore battles and plenty of activities for the l’il mates, as well.
Pirates and landlubbers both young and old are sure to walk away with memories to treasure. This festival has grown from a simple little gathering to one of the largest festivals in the state, and fans travel from all over to attend.
