Sevendust returns: Wallow Sound, Sheena Brooke open the Monday night show at Dixie Roadhouse

Returning to Southwest Florida for a one-night-only performance before heading out on their inaugural Shiprocked Cruise, Sevendust will be rockin’ out at Dixie Roadhouse, 1023 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, Monday, Nov. 26, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting right around 8.
This 21-and-up show is sure to be jam-packed with amazing music, rockstar talent and plenty of high-energy rock and roll, as this group returns for what promises to be the most fun you’ll ever have on a Monday night.
Opening for Sevendust will be Sheena Brook, a local talent “who has been writing with Scott Krehling for the past year and a half, and this dynamic collaboration is something you have to hear,” said Heather Koenig, co-producer of the Monday night performance, with S&H Music Promotions, LLC. “They are just finishing with the album, and will be doing a CD release in the near future, along with hopes of touring very soon.”
Another fantastic local group, Wallow Sound, will be performing before Sevendust that evening, as well.
“Wallow Sound brings everything they have to each performance, and leaves it all on stage!” Heather said. “Not to mention, these guys show amazing support to all of the other musicians and bands in Southwest Florida, whenever they are not playing themselves.”
It’s been three years since Sevendust graced a local stage, and Heather says they’re ecstatic to be back.
“The guys know that they have a lot of love down here in Southwest Florida, and it’s been three years (99XMas Ball 2009) since they’ve played locally. So, I know that they are happy to hear how much buzz is going on about this show,” she said.
During the Nov. 26 show, the headlining group will be playing all of the big hits that got them where they are today, along with some new material that was recently finished on their latest album.
Tickets to the show are just $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Or, for $40, enjoy a special Eat and Greet with the band after the show. This is a 21-and-up concert, so don’t forget your IDs!
“Pre-sale is going very well, and the more people hear about it, the more I am seeing daily ticket sales,” Heather said. “Most online ticket sales that I am seeing are not only one- to two-ticket sales, but five to eight tickets ordered at once. Looking at the ticket sales so far, if they’re not sold out before the show, they definitely be sold out at the door soon after opening, so get your tickets early! This is an early show, so there’s no reason for people to miss it. See you there!”
To buy your tickets in advance, you can get a limited amount at the Beach Bulletin office (19260 San Carlos Blvd.), Dixie Roadhouse (Cape Coral), Tattoo Artistry (Cape Coral), and Brent’s Music (Fort Myers).
Also, if anyone sees Heather out and about during the nightlife scene, she’ll have some available on-hand, and can even ring up credit card purchases on her phone (gotta love technology)!
And, $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Super Storm Sandy Hurricane Relief Fund.

About S&H Music Promotions
Heather tells us a little about her new endeavor with her co-run promotions company.
“SK Music Corp was thought up by Scott Krehling (founding memeber/formerly of 10,000 views), as a hopeful concept to start his own label. This is still in the works, but for now Scott and I have come together and formed S&H Music Promotions, LLC., as we both have different backgrounds in music,” she said. “Scott, a musician, writer and producer, has been playing guitar for more than 20 years, and in the last year and a half, has been collaborating with Sheena (formerly of Fellowbliss). I, myself, have been photographing, assisting, managing and running shows from behind the scenes for more than five years. Together we’ve seen how the Southwest Florida area is in need of quality, national/headlining shows, that everyone can afford. With the formation of S&H, we hope to bring back what has been missing from the ROCK genre in this area, and enable some of SWFL’s finest original bands the chance to play with some amazing national artists — along with making these show professional, quality and kickass! And, we are proud to say that Sevendust is only the beginning!”
