Imaginarium offers haunting good time in October
Enjoy Halloween fun with the whole family when the Imaginarium hosts its first Haunted Happenings. Filled with frights and fun for all ages, Haunted Happenings features a new 3-D Movie, Fright Nights, Tunnels of Terror and Spooky Science.
The fun began Oct. 1 when the Imaginarium started showing the brand new spooky 3-D movie, “Haunted House,” running through the entire month of October. This film offers friendly frights and is rated to scare, with creepy critters and spooky encounters. The movie will also run as a part of the Fright Nights Thursday, Oct. 15 to Saturday, Oct. 17, and the following week Thursday, Oct. 22 to Saturday, Oct. 24. Fright Night hours are 7 to 11 p.m., with the final fright of the night beginning at 10:30 p.m.
Fright Nights kick off Thursday, October 15th! Will you survive the Tunnels of Terror? Check out the “Haunted House” 3-D feature film while younger victims experiment with spooky science activities! The Imaginarium will be closed for exhibit experiences, as Fright Night activities take place on the surrounding grounds and in the Theater-in-the-Tank. Families are welcome, however, Tunnels of Terror is recommended only for more mature audiences. Children will be entertained in the spooky science lab while parents and teens brave the Tunnels of Terror and view the “Haunted House” 3-D feature film.
Admission to Fright Nights is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
The Imaginarium’s annual Boo Bash family fun event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 17 with special activities include make-and-take projects, spooky science “Hands-On Fun” shows, face painting, creepy crawly live animal encounters, a costume contest and more from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come in costume and receive $1 off regular admission.
