A staple to the Fort Myers Beach music scene for the last several years, the boys of A200 are proud to announce the release of their next album, “Stray From Here,” during a CD release party scheduled at the Buddha Bar (12701 McGregor Blvd.) Friday, Sept. 18, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Entry is just $10, which includes your very own copy of the album. If you show up rockin’ an A200 shirt (just $10), you’ll get in for a measly $5. Basically, for $15, you get an A200 T-shirt, brand new album and entry to the all-night party and show. Not a bad deal!

Heads up: Car-pooling is highly suggested, since this party is expected to become pretty packed pretty quick. Meet up with friends and ride together, or just make new friends along the way.

With John Housley, Bob Tabarrini, Keith Clanton and Vic Jimenez, (all the original boys of the band) back together, along with Ed Ziehm on drums, these boys are right on track. And since teaming up with the rock professionals of Studio Sea in Fort Myers, A200 is sure to reach nothing but continued success.

Award-winning music producer Rob Robinson, along with Studio Sea and Al Nalli Productions, have put together the new “Stray From Here” album with the group, excited to release it to the public Friday.

“We’ve worked together casually for two years and quite seriously for the last year. One of the great things about working with a band that works six nights a week and only does music, relying solely on music as their chosen profession, in doing that, you know you’re going to get true, 100 percent musicians,” Rob said. “Added to the team are, on the management side, Eric Liebl and on the technical side, Heather Koenig and our fabulous crew of Bob and Whitney Lucas. Together, this support staff, along with the band, was able to crank out our third recording project in two years. Having a great bunch of guys really helps Studio Sea put out a very quality piece of product.”

Rob and the studio have also professionally worked with Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rickey Medlocke and his band Blackfoot, along with Styx and many others. The studio has recently expanded into the Fort Myers Music Academy, a learning center for local musicians of all ages and levels. About the band

A200 has been rockin’ the area for years, and the group prides itself with a mix of originals and crowd-pleasing favorites at least six nights a week in various hot spots around town. Be ready to rock out to a total conglomeration of new and old songs from decades past and present, and genres from across the board, like classic rock from the Marshall Tucker Band’s “Can’t You See,” Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama,” The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues,” Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride and Joy,” the Doobie Brothers’ “What’s Love,” and new rock like Weezer’s “Trouble Maker,” Finger Eleven’s “Paralyzer,” Blink182’s “All the Small Things,” Stone Sour’s “Through Glass,” Sublime’s “Santeria” and Kings of Leon’s “Sex on Fire,” to R&B like Stevie Wonder’s “Very Superstitious,” and even some country like Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands to Yourself,” and plenty of Johnny Cash.

These guys are a true party band. The crowd goes wild while Ed’s rockin’ out on drums and flippin’ sticks and John’s sliding up and down his guitar neck backwards while Vic’s sweet voice is harmonizing with Keith’s sexy rasp and Bob keeps the crowd laughing with smooth humor mixed in with his talent on the axe.

Another great thing about this group is all five of the boys sing vocals and harmonies, adding their own unique twist to the crowd-pleasing favorites.
