Lani Kai seeks Miss Lani Kai during bikini contests through Labor Day
Every Saturday for the next nine weeks, the Lani Kai will be hosting some of the hottest contests on beach, searching for Miss Lani Kai 2009.
Girls (18 and up) from near and far are encouraged to step up and enter the free bikini contests that can win them big, taking place at 4 p.m. every Saturday at the main stage until the grand finale competition Sept. 5.
“It can be the opportunity of a lifetime that can make their modeling career,” said Beverley Bacon, sales director of the resort.
Every week, winning girls will be determined by the panel of expert judges, each one winning prizes and allowing them to compete in the final competition Labor Day weekend.
“We’ll have over $1,000 in cash and prizes for the final winner Sept. 5, which will include an all-inclusive three-day, two-night stay at the resort, a $100 shopping spree to each contributing store within the resort, and lots more,” Beverley said. “And, if you want to get noticed, this is the place to be. The winner will be on the front of the national Harley Davidson calendar.”
Girls will be judged on an array of categories from the panel of experts, all who have experience in the industry, including grace, poise, body, looks and smile.
So far, there isn’t a talent portion to this contest, so leave the baton and clogs at home, for now.
What to bring
Here are some highlights of what to bring if you plan to enter the competition:
Your I.D.
A bikini or two (after all, it is a bikini contest).
Your make-up, heels, hair stuff, accessories, etc.
Your make-up and hair crew.
Your entourage.
During the bikini contests
There will be plenty going on during the summer Miss Lani Kai bikini contests. Be ready to down plenty of cocktails with all of the drink specials, as well as live music and house DJs.
Contestants should show up at 2 p.m. and be ready to hit the stage at 4 p.m.
