How long living locally? Twenty years.
How long serving locally? Twenty years. I started The Pelican, but I’ve been with Bruce (and the Surf Club) for 18 years. It’s one big family. I first asked
Bruce for a job because my dad said it would save my liver, since you can’t drink on the clock here.
Any tats or piercings? Negative. Just normal ones in my ears.
1) If you could appear on any TV show, past or present, which would it be? The Carol Burnett Show. She’s awesome. She’s inspired me a lot.
2) Best/worst first date experience? I met Corey at The Reef. He invited me
to his home and I never left.
3) What’s your drink of choice? Same as Ralphie: Mich Ultra and Jose Cuervo.
4) Any unusual habits or rituals? My warm-up rituals in the car on the way to gigs.
5) Who would you want to play the role of you in a movie of your life? Greg Watts. He’s unlike any sister I ever had.
6) Best/worst pick-up line you’ve ever used or heard? Bugsy. Every time he sees me, he says, “Hey lil ‘ol girl. Wanna go home with me tonight?”
7) Where do you like to go after-hours or on your days off? I like to walk, bike ride and swim at Bowditch or crash my friend’s pool area.
8) When you were younger, what’d you want to be when you grew up? A singer.
9) What’s the dumbest question you’ve ever been asked? When people come into the bar and ask me, “Where’s your guitar?” Or when they ask me if I sing anymore.
10) Which cartoon character do you most relate to? The Tazmanian Devil.
11) What’s one thing you’d like to share with the opposite sex? If it’s physical, it’s therapy.
