The Town of Fort Myers Beach Community Development Department has issued warning letters to property owners who may not be in compliance with the Town’s Short-Term Vacation Rental Registration Ordinance. The letters, mailed May 5, notify property owners that Town staff were unable to verify registration compliance as required under Section 10-198 of the Town of Fort Myers Beach Code of Ordinances. The Town is encouraging voluntary compliance and providing property owners with an opportunity to complete the registration process before additional enforcement measures are considered.
