The Town of Fort Myers Beach held a survey this past week on what color the public would prefer the new town hall to be painted.

The verdict from 677 respondents was some type of blue with respondents preferring regale blue over loyal blue. Another shade of blue termed “splashy” was in third.

The commercial building on Estero Boulevard which will house the new town hall was purchased earlier this year for $7 million.

The town is expected to move its offices from its trailers on Oak Street near the Bay Oaks Recreational Campus to the new Estero Boulevard building, which is at the corner of Bahia Via near the former Outrigger resort.
