Fort Myers Beach Community Pool closed temporarily
The Fort Myers Beach Community Pool is closed for what the town is describing as routine maintenance upon the orders of the Lee County Health Department. The pool is expected to open up again Wednesday, Fort Myers Beach Communications Coordinator Jennifer Dexter said.
According to Dexter, the Lee County Health Department found that “the pool chemicals were slightly out of range due to a heavy rainfall the night before. The pool was closed the day that the inspector came so no staff were there, nor guests. The earliest the inspector could be scheduled to return to do the required check that the chemicals are in range is next Tuesday.”
Dexter stated that the pool is expected to be open on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
