David H. Krigelman

Apr 1, 2021

David unexpectedly left us on March 18, 2021. He was a loving and devoted son to his father, Ken, and his mother, Diana. He was the fiance and business partner of Julie McCafferty. He was the much-loved nephew of Ann Nevel.

He had been a carpenter for 30 years and recently became the co-owner with Julie of FMB Painting. He took great pride in the business and the work he and Julie did together. Prior to this, David worked at the post-office store in, and the Seven-Eleven store across from Santini Marina Plaza on Fort Myers Beach where he made many good friends. He loved fishing, kayaking and camping at Koreshan State Park.

David will be missed by so many. His wish was to be cremated, and his ashes will be put into the Gulf. There will be no formal ceremony. Donations can be made to Shy Wolf Sanctuary or Captains for Clean Water. Condolences can be sent to 8350 Estero Boulevard, #132, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931.

The following is an excerpt from a memorial

written by his father:

We love you David. You touched us. You loved us. You were a good man and a good and loyal friend to have. You were generous, gracious and giving. You were funny, engaging and joyful. You made us smile and laugh. You were a source of pride for us. We will miss you deeply and sweetly. We will think of you and smile. We are comforted that your pain has ended.
