Snug Harbor hosted a Mardis Gras themed celebration and fundraiser for the Fort Myers Beach Friends of the Arts Tuesday.

The Fort Myers Beach Friends of the Arts supports a concert series, musical performances, the Fort Myers Beach International Film Festival and a sustainable seafood event in town. The organization was unable to hold a fundraiser last year when most of its events were canceled due to COVID-19.

More than $4,000 was raised for the Fort Myers Beach Friends of the Arts, said Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce President Jacki Liszak, who is also on the Friends of the Arts board. Liszak said the board was “ecstatic” about the success of the event.
