Parrot Key offers $2 lunches to hospitality workers
As Fort Myers Beach restaurants reel from the one-two punch of seeing the beaches closed and dealing with restrictions for dining-in customers, Parrot Key Caribbean Grill is stepping up to help out those hospitality workers affected by the downturn in business related to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Fort Myers Beach restaurant is offering all hospitality industry employees $2 lunches. Lunches will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be packaged for carry out. Customers are welcome to either take the meals to go or enjoy them at our picnic tables around the Salty Sam’s Marina property located behind Estero Island at 2500 Main Street.
“This is clearly a hard time for not only our staff, but service industry employees all over the state,” said Matt Hanson, Owner Salty Sam’s Marina and Parrot Key.
“It is important for us to show our support for the hard-working men and women of the hospitality sector during this time.”
Parrot Key will continue with this offer until restaurants are allowed to re-open, according to David Kastan, director of marketing for Salty Sam’s Waterfront Adventures.
